Price for Demo Car with 2k miles

Hey everybody! I do not yet have my Camaro but I hope to within the next month or sooner. The problem is the dealer cannot locate the vehicle I want and is telling me I would need to order it to get exactly what I want. They do however have a demo car exactly the way I want, the only downfall is I wanted a new car but this one has 2k miles. So I told them I would consider it if I could receive a discount. How much should I ask off on a car with 2000 miles already?

Thanks for any advice.

I can't tell you what exactly you should pay, but I just wanted to share this with you. I ordered in May to get exactly what I want. The wait as killing me all summer and there were a couple times that I almost gave in and settled for one different than what I ordered. I stuck it out and took delivery in October - 12 weeks after I was promised. The wait was long, but now that it's over, I'm really, really glad I held out for the exact car I wanted. I'll have this car much longer than the wait. Hang in there.

I would ask them to knock anywhere from 2-4k off sticker of an identical new one. Thats just me. The car does lose the most value once off the lot!

If it isn't 5 grand cheaper, then get your own.

There are alot of dealers on this site that can probably find you what you are looking for and have it dropped off at your front door. There are a couple discounts out there right now so maybe you can get just as good of a deal on a new one that hasnt been beaten! (they will tell you that they didnt but..........you know they had their foot in it!)

Kurtis
15-18% off MSRP
Make sure the car has never been titled and that it was just a dealer demo with dealer plates. In that case, it should still be considered NEW when sold for warranty, etc.
