This is before and after my cam install. I fuse pull about once or twice a season depending on if I fill up with 93 with 10% ethenol. I recently found a station that doesn't add ethenol to their mix!! Might give that a try.

I have a 2010 ls3 that is still being broken in, mostly on regular 2 lane highways. I checked what kind of fuel mileage I was getting and going mostly in 4 th / 5 th gear during break and trying not to run at a stead RPM due to break in I was still getting OVER 16 MPG. I was happy with that considering... So I am assuming that after break in I will get a reasonable MPG if I drive normal. 10MPG sounds like a lot of fun / a lot of city driving / higher RPM / Lower Gear HOT rod driving all the time.

On a side note:::
I average ~19 mpg on my high mileage 99 LS1 m6, the 2 cars are definitely geared differently. It almost feels like 5th gear in the 99 is like 4th in the 10.

I drive a lot of 2 lane 55mph windy roads, with a little bit of city.

I get around 13-16 average. No problem getting 23-24mpg on the highway.
2012 SS with 500 miles on the odometer.
