Giving up would be the easy way out, but it would make your pride suffer.

U need to be at a track with other gen5's with similar mods to see how you compare on the same day with same conditions. It could be that you are blaming yourself for a track that just isn't hooking.
Come down to Texas this fall and we can make a track day. Lots of guys to compare to here and track won't be an issue.

I'm about 105 miles from SGMP. I looked at your link and SGMPs schedule, and it appears SGMP has a Summit Series race scheduled for that Saturday. I'm assuming the group is going to SGMP to watch, or do they have some kind of racing set up?

Instead of stomping on the gas, gradually squeeze the pedal.... Like slow motion. If you dead hook next time floor it faster.

Mike from New Era made an interesting comment. Mike you mean like pulling timing in certain spots?

If you are going around 12.1's/12.2's with a 2.0 60ft, @115 mph, then your car is fine. It may need some shift point tuning. You have at least .3 left in you 60ft alone. I have not been to the track as of yet. So, I guess I will have my own experience. Your car will definitely run 11's. I was also disappointed with my C6 M6 LS2 when I just ran 12.98@112......432rwhp/389rwtq. Just my .02.

Hey I go to SGMS a lot its a 2 hour plus trip for me also I don't have the same set up as you but was cutting 1.57 to 1.65 with nitto 20" with a 3200 stall and stock trans there and with the 4l80 on 305/45/18" MT with 3.45 gears I have cut as low as 1.51. if you want to meet there one day let me know am not a pro but hold my own at the track.

Also just my 2 cents with the 6l and 3.91 gears you may be blowing the tire.

Yes,theirs a timing table that can add or remove timing when your at WOT at pretty much any given RPM range. One a stock tune,it's active, but most tuner zero it out.

I just want say again how much I appreciate all the suggestions you guys have given here. I'm going to keep plugging away, probably until I'm too old to do so.

Thanks to all.

I would imagine you're talking about the PE/COT spark advance table?
It would probably be easier to pull timing out of the base timing map since you can base it on load and RPM.
I had to do it on my SS since I probably had too much timing there to begin with.
