No, there is not.

indeed. would definitely be nice to get the stats for the systems that were released after the first results were posted. perhaps those vendors would even fund it.

the race is a road version plus a scoop to ram air so on a static dyno the results will be the same as the street one...dont complain the guys at jannetty put great efforts into their shootout and they have the most informations ive ever seen in any comparisons...

I doubt itwill perform the same, mainly because that washer bottle is a huge air restriction, also its more likely to stay closer to ambient since the lid is sealed and a shop fan will blow ambient air into the scoop and up to the filter. Less chance the computer will pull timing.

What do you think Ted?

Agreed, Andy did a great job of designing his system.

Ted.

We have not tested this unit yet so we cannot comment.

Based on the result reported in this thread and the recommendations of other forum members, I put the CAI intake in my 2SS yesterday with the help of a C5 friend. I'm VERY pleased with the results. It looks great, improves response, and the sound when I step on the gas is amazing! Thanks for the great info in this thread.

NOOB Here! Got a question, won't these mods basically void your mfg warranty? I need a warranty more than I need a HP increase right now on a new car.

Do a search on Warranty discussion, make sure you have a lot of time because it is one of the most discussed subjects.

Maybe you should direct that question to the area GM representative who would be making the call if the need ever arises. His or her response should be a heads up of how the decision will be made rather than an "opinion" that others may have who would not be part of making the call.
