Ya I know. It's been kicked around here a dozen times. Laughing 06MonteSS just might be a bit biased with his sarcastic remarks- Check out that Signature.
Until I find out different, I'll rely on my dealers info.

yeah, check it out...

all I was saying is... you said that by disabling the AFM, they can deny warranty claims...

MY point was, no they can NOT... you can drive your car around the whole entire time you own it, in 4th or 5th gear so that AFM never kicks in - effectively "disabling" it...

now, if something goes wrong, they can NOT deny your warranty because the AFM never kicked in due to it being "disabled"... heh...

There's another Thread about warranty's. Lets stick to what the OP asked.

I lost about 1-2 miles with AFM diabled.

I got 22-23 today driving to Vegas from SoCal. I'm running a Vector tune with AFM delete, CAI and Kooks long tubes. It was holding about 23.5 mpg at 75 mph and 21.5 at 85mph. The overall trip average was 21.9. I was bucking a heavy winds so it should do better . Also I got on it a few times when passing. Soo no complanits about those numbers and the car is much more drivable without AFM. My mileage was sucking quite a bit but, Vector woked with me to dial it in. I sent a data log, they sent a new tune and I'm happy. If only I could tune up the GF so easily.

i went on a 500 mile trip where i was doing about 70 the whole time and i was getting about 23-24mpg also, AFM disabled.

before i disabled it with the stock tune, i was getting 24-25mpg on the same route.

My car is fully broken in with 12k miles. Those of you who are still getting 16-18 mpg, it WILL improve w/ miles. I easily got 22mpg w/ a heavy foot. With a Diablo tune I got a couple more.

I lost 3-4 mpg when I disabled AFM. Now I have it set up (HP Tuners) where AFM is only active in Drive - 5th and 6th gear only. In Manual it's totally off.

Best of both worlds that way..

That's exactly what I want. So I guess the Predator can't do that but the HP can?
