Hey Don, I am coming w/ the Camaro! I may only get one full WOT pass before they kick me off for no cage but I`m hoping for 10.6x`s. Conditions look great, if it doesn`t hook or shift perfect I am letting out until I get my money pass...lol.. I plan on getting there before they open, be the first through tech and rolling through making passes before it gets crowded, get kicked off in time for dinner....

RX- I managed a 12:72 on the last pass of the night last time, I think I finally got the hang of launching it, so hopefully better tonight. Again sorry you can't make it.

GMRULZ- Hoping to get there about 6:30, I'll look for you.

I hope so. It will be a last minute decision as I found out (today) I need to be on-call tonight in case an upgrade goes wrong.

VMP puts me a little further from the office (that is if I should have to go into the office) then I normally would like. We will see.

Just got a text from VMP, street wars tonight cancelled due to temps. Test & Tune tomorrow instead, gates open at 8:30am. Not sure if I can make it tomorrow morning or not.

Looks like gates open in the morning at 8:30am and racing at 11:00, the wife gave me permission so I plan to come on up. I actually prefer to race in the daylight so this works out.

Its a junior dragster day, be prepared to wait a long time between runs....

I have stuff I have to do tomorrow, so looks like spring
for me or maybe one of the saturdays coming up, the 10th looks like a decent day.

You were right I didn't get my 1st pass until around lunchtime, there were a bunch of Jrs. there. All in all though after 1:00 pm it was very good racing. First two passes I tried launch without TC, no good skated almost to the 1/8 mile mark, I think jrs didn't help track prep. Third pass I said hell with it all TC on launched at 1000 rpm and ran 12:46 @ 112, 1.90 60', all the next passes were in the 12:50s & 60s with 1.95 60' times. Wish I would have started the 1st pass with TC on because it had warmed up by the third. I was really happy with the car's performance. Running 12:4s stock with comfort of a Challenger is great.

Met up with some good folks there. The record holder for a V6 powered late model mustang was there running 12:90s impressive, the car has bolt ons and tune, and has been 12:70s, I think there was some talk about his car a while back, faster than the 5.0 I seen. We did get to line up but I deep staged and launched a bit to quick redlight, he got the win, my 12:54 to his 13:01

Nice Don! Congrats on the new best!!! Those Junior dragsters tend to pull water up to the line plus they don`t put any heat in the track, I also think the prep can be a little lacking when they run. So very nice indeed!

I am going to go up for test and tune on Dec. 1st. Been trying to make it up there for the past few months, but work, my other car, and other commitments have kept me from doing so. Been wanting to try this drag strip. Hope you guys can join me.

Performs better, but I need some drag radials for some grip. My 60ft times are not good. 1/4 mile times and trap speed are better. Looks like I will be putting money towards the wheels and tires instead of going with you guys to Daytona this year:(. It pains me deeply to say that!
