Lowering Springs
I have a 2011 2SS/RS with the dealer installed 21" wheels/tires (245 front and 275 rear). I want to lower the car about 1" front and 1.5" rear to get the car to sit level. Anyone see any issues with this combo? Thanks!

The only issue would be finding a set of springs with those specs. The closest thing I am aware of would be to buy a set of BMR 1 inch front springs and their 1.4 inch rear springs separately. I think that might over shoot leveling it off though, especially if you ever have rear seat passengers or anything in your trunk.

Forget the springs, get coilovers.

That would be the best way to handle it.

You will not have any problems on factory wheels. It's only when you go with aggressive offsets and/or wide wheels and tires that you will run into issues when lowering. I suggest going with the BMR split drop 1" F 1.4" R for what you are trying to do, or coilovers; that way you can set the height exactly where you want it.

You can check out our springs here:
http://www.lsrperformance.com/lsr-co...g-springs.html LSR's Competition Lowering Springs will lower your Camaro 1 inch in the front and 1 1/4 inches in the rear for a more level ride height and better weight distribution. These springs are a direct replacement for the factory springs. Improved shocks and struts are recommended to maximize performance and ride quality. As long as the wheels are the correct offset, there should not be an issue. Best Regards, TJ |

Thank you Gentlemen! Now I just need to decide on springs or coilovers...
