[QUOTE=08-G35s/6MT;6339947]He cleaned his tires off like I tried to and attempted to drive around waterbox from what I observed. In one of the vids you can see him doing a burnout in the beginning. Yeah I felt his car was slower then it should have been, if he's there next time I'm out I'll definitely gives him heads up about fuse pull and ask if he knows about the low octane mode.
Tell him to do a nice burn out (P-Zeros like to be warmed up). Put transmission in M (Sport - computer doing the shifting) with TC off. Then brake stall the car to around 800 -1000 rpms. On the last yellow/amber light, roll smoothly (don't floor it) into the gas. Using this method, he sould pull 1.9x sec 60' times (2.0 at the slowest). This should easily bring his 1/4 mile time down to 13.3s @ 105 mph range. |

That L99 is trapping way low and there are much better ETs to be had.

Well, that's one of the many slow pokes just like, not all l99s are slow, and not all srt's are slow. The guy I raced was cool, but very ****y, he even turned his go pro camera backwards to see me fall behind, but was rudely awaken I wish I could see his video after the run....lol. Had a full car length on him the whole way down.....not talkin crap either

That's a pretty decent time for srt8, race was determined by the 60 foot.

My friend did 12.86 @ 113 mph on low bottle pressure in his 2006 Charger SRT8, 100 wet shot of nitrous. DA was 2500ish.
