F/S 2010 IBM Camaro 1SS SC & Cammed 17,000 Miles

I am selling a 2010 Imperial Blue Metallic with white stripes Camaro SS. The car is a 1SS, but the only things lacking from the 2SS/RS package is a sunroof and the leather upholstery. It came from the dealership as a "Black Majic" promotion which included:
- Edelbrock E-Force supercharger
- Eibach stage-1 spring kit
- Hurst shifter
- GM Performance exhaust (GM's copy of the Borla exhaust)
- black chrome wheels.

I purchased it in November of 2011 with 12,00 miles on it from the owner whom I know very well. He had taken excellent care of the car while he owned it. I put about 1,500 miles on it and then started upgrading it. RPM Motorsports out of Garner NC performed all of the work and tunning, including the following upgrades:
- smaller pully for supercharger
- fuel booster pump
- larger fuel injectors
- Kooks long tube headers
- Roto-Fab Cold Air Intake for E-Force
- deep lobbing competition cam and all parts that go with the cam upgrade
- Padft control arms and toe rods for the rear
- polymer bushings in the rear
- 305 Nitto NT55 Extreme Drag Radials on the rear (lots of life left on tires)
- all stock parts go with the car

After RPM tuned the car, it produced 673 HP and 587 Torque at the rear wheels. The car has never been taken to the drag strip. I built it to look and sound good, not to race.
I have also taken all badges off of the car except for the SS in the grill and the SS on the rear. I sanded and painted the tail light bezels flat black, and tinted the rear tail lights, backup lights, and side markers. The windows have been tinted.
Car has been Garage kept, and never driven in the rain since I have owned it. It has been detailed with Adams products weekly. The selling price is $34,500.

How much exactly are you looking to for the car?

I apologize, I thought I had the price in the post. $36,000. I will consider serious and reasonable offers.

I need a little help here. Is the interest in a SS that is already built just not there?
Is it because I am a newbie as far as posting on this site?
Is the price too high?

From looking around on this site for a few months for a car I have noticed that cars like yours are selling for high 20's to low 30's. There are cars that are prior SEMA show cars and Hennessey or Lingenfelter cars listed for the same price that you have yours listed or even less.

Thanks for your help Calirider. I notices a few of those cars in my research as well, but they are not making the same rear wheel horsepower that my car is. They have really nice cosmetic upgrades, but I just thought horsepower was worth more than that.

In the end it's all about what someone is willing to pay. You just have to leave it up for sale long enough to get a few offers and find out what market value is. I think it is a really good looking car and would be more interested if the price was right and it was just a tad closer to me.

Thanks again for the insight. How do the emissions laws work in California? When I got orders to be stationed in San Diego, I found out that I was better off selling my motorcycle here and buying one when I got out there. Is there a difference when it comes to cars?

CoatsRacing,

Personally I don't think $35k is asking too much especially since it is SC/cammed and tuned. Looks like you have great numbers too. What has a local dealership offered you?

FYI the sunroof is an additional option to the vehicle and not necessary a difference between the 1SS and 2SS.

I did not take it to a dealership. I don't have to sale it, i just have my eye on a new project. I did go through Kelly Blue Book and for my car stock, it listed $30,600 for private sale. I thought that was quite high. I was kinda thinking 27,000 to 28,000 stock. If thats the case, I am only asking for someone to pay 7,500 for all of the performance mods done to the car. That to me is a crazy deal????

You can try to go by book value and add money for mods but that is not what cars sell for, they sell for market value.
