I use both of these, but Nav is still way better... If it happens I wonder if it will be an easy update to the 2010 models.

I would pay dearly to have it in the dash and get rid of on-star.

+1, that's fine if someone wants it, but don't make it part of a package that someone has to get it. Make it an add on option.

This is all about allocation. Many dealers take the order, but don't have any allocations for the order. If your the first order they have then when they get allocation you should get that spot. Theoretically.

Once again, that would be awesome. Saw it once in my cousin's 1999 GrandPrix and didn't know it existed. Very Nice.

I've read a million posts, some people get them in 4 weeks, some not for 4-6 months!! I guess my question is, if I order on the first day available, wouldn't my car be built on the first day of production for the 2011's, which is June 7th? Should I still expect to wait 6-8 weeks like they tell you? thanx everyone for your input, much appreciated!
Its hard to predict because cars aren't built exclusively according to when they're ordered. Only thing for sure is that it won't be as bad as last years pre-ordering mess.

Unfortunately Onstar is really not that great compared to a separate GPS
and I actually resent the fact that I spent money on Onstar systems hardwired into the car.

Onstar has managed to get me lost a couple of times already -due to mapping errors in areas which have been around for years - and it is not nearly as good as a GPS at indicating where and when you are turning next / how the road will curve etc..

I actually feel that Onstar devalues the car in most cases - and its annual cost is more than a typical GPS

Don't forget there are other features that Onstar has besides Turn by Turn Navigation.

Automatic Crash Response
Emergency Services
Crisis Assist
Stolen Vehicle Assistance
Remote Door Unlock
Roadside Assistance

Plus insurance companies give you discounts for having it.

I very much doubt that you'll ever see factory houndstooth interiors again... just not mainstream enough to be popular anymore.

aftermarket? sure.

I have been planning to purchase a camaro for some time now, but now am second guessing myself now that this news came out today... Any advice for a person that trades every 2 years? When would be the best time to buy a 2010 to get the best deal since the 2011s will be here soon. Would you guys recommend me buying my camaro now, enjoying it, then get the z28 in late 2011 or 2012?
