Just a little update..... Those that I talk with on here already know my plan is to go VVT on my LS3. After talking to Rhino79 and asking stupid question after stupid question I feel like for what I am wanting out of my car this route suits me best. The quote I got from the guys at Gwatney was a really awesome quote. It was alot lower than I was expecting and not much more than doing a cam upgrade the right way even if I was staying with a plain ol LS3. I am still a few months out before we will start the process but I wanted to give everyone that follows a heads up and if anyone else would like to follow to see the progress once it starts this is where you will need to be.

I wanted to stop in and give everyone an update. We have decided not to try the VVT and Rhino is currently spec'ing out a custom grind cam for me. Should be ordering everything this week and now that work is beyond busy I'm hoping to try and take a few days off in Oct to go have everything installed. We will be adding cam and of course cam kit and an under drive pulley.
This damn oilfield I went from dead in the water to now being gone working for 3 weeks with no end in sight as to when ill go home for a few days. The Ol Lady might be a little pissed that I'm going to be spending my only days off up at GPI but all I can say is RACECAR!!! Will post more once I get everything in and get up there.
