I payed about $270 to install it... + you will need a new tune which will run you about $250 (if you already have the credits) not sure if that $2000 includes a tune... but I still think its a little bit high! the intake will run you about $1200shipped with spacers and new gaskets! so you should expect about $1500 installed

You can install it yourself, it's not that hard, maybe two hours or so. You can find the FAST for around $800, $40 or so for the injector spacers.

+1 but I want the rectangular port mast heads so I may have to do both at the same time

no I was saying do heads and keep the stock intake... and no if you have 4-5k, I would do the internals first and then think about a supercharger/turbo...etc!!

but again thats Just me!!

Our experiance shows the bigger the cubes & the better flowing the heads the better the gains using the FAST. (and the VMax ported intake which was a few hP below the FAST 102 at WOT. Good gains and I think w/a NW 102 you would see more..... and would like to see Jason test it as well.

@walhan_qtr,
We have almost identical cars and mods, I woulod same that you are right around were you should be! I gained 80 rwhp and 60 rwtq from the TSP 231-236 cam, TSP ud Pulley, unported Fast 102, ported Stock TB, and a retune for the added parts! I don't know exactly what the intake was worth but both of us seem to be making the same power that a lot of cars on here with heads and cam are making! So I wouldn't be to worried at all, and the difference may be the altitude since you are up higher than most people being in Colorado!! Congrats on the gain and you know my tuner and installer told me the same thing, the intake reacts well with a cam and heads, plus it offers the power and torque gains throughout the entire power band!! I'm very happy with my car and I know you are too! Keep an eye out for the new castings that TSP should be putting out here shortly! They make great products that make power, I will definitley be going back to them for a set of heads!! I think that would put you right at 500/470 to the tires!! Good luck with the ZO6!!
Jesse

you are putting down 11whp/3wtq more than me.... and I have ported heads/ported fast intake/NW102 TB/ and 1 7/8 headers (where yours are 1 3/4) .... so I should be in the 500whp range... not sure if the dyno we are using reads low, because my numbers doesnt seem right.... but oh well... I dont care.. car runs great! but I was hoping with all the mods it should be in the 490-500whp range!

The Z06 should be done really soon... hoping for 900whp thats if we dont run out of fuel.. which im sure we will! we will see how that goes!

Thanks

edit: the heads are ported only, no milling and stock valves.

came across one of your threads... I doubt you will hit 540whp N/A. porting the fast intake you have will prob get you 2-3whp more. NW102 will get you probably another 2whp over your stock ported TB. heads if ported only you wont get more than 12-15whp, with milling i would say probably another 10whp. so you are looking at 30whp total increase... that will put you around 510whp.
