Pricing advice on a used 2010 2SS

I think I may have found the used Camaro that I want but wanted some advice about pricing, haggling, etc. Also, what kind of questions should I ask the dealer ie, any mods done to the car (besides the blacked out bow tie). Please let me know what you all think is fair/good deal for this car:

Thank you.

Dude I just picked up an SS / RS with a couple factory upgrades for 30 grand And only 3000 miles locally. There is a guy selling an SS/RS in Louisiana with 2000 miles all sorts of upgrades who will take $29,000 . You will do better with private sale than at the dealership.

That's clean but they can do better than $31k unless they are including a certified pre-owned car warranty.

Thank you guys. I thought it was a pretty good deal but that's why I wanted to ask for second opinions.

I would not buy it at that price. Who knows how that last 9.1K miles were driven. That delaer probably paid or traded for it at a value of $23K-$24Kish.. I'd say shop around more.

Except for little things like tax, registration, etc. The problem is that the 31K car will cost you at least 35K with AZ tax and registration, assuming the price isn't negotiated further. (expect registration in AZ about $500, rest is tax, any other stupid doc fees may be able to be negotiated away). Yes, for $5K more you can get a new car, but realisticaly that will price out near 40K or so by the time you walk away.

Turd, exactly. You have to figure about another 10% after miscellaneous tax, doc, registration... Tucson's sales tax is 9.1%. I wish it was only $5k more but everything adds up really fast.

You think you guys have it rough?
We pay 13% sales tax here.
Ontop of the already inflated price as compared to there.Unfortunately most car manufacturers will not honour the factory warranty if car bought abroad(out of country)
also our resale values are also higher since the out the door prices are higher initially
Welcome to Canada eh?

Yes 5 grand more you get a new SS and tax is up about 500 over what he is already going to pay...@ your 10% rate...my comment was that the price is high and could get a new one for about five grand more and yes 350-450 more tax...if budget fixed to 34-35000 then that does take new 2ss off the board.

The price on a new 2011 2SS/RS will be alot closer to your price range than you would think right now. There is $2500 worth of rebates on a new 2011, and that combined with if you qualify for any of the incentives like a credit union member, USAA, recent college grad, sams club member etc,..etc,.. You could expect to save anywhere from $3500 - $4000 off msrp on a "NEW" 2011.
Good luck in your search.
