I too dislike the shark fin antenna… IMO GM should try to mount the antenna out of site. I really think it distracts from the body lines. Not just on the Camaro but on all GM vehicles… GM, are you listing???
I was at a Chevy/Pontiac Dealer the other day and was looking at the all the vehicles on the lot. I really feel sorry for any G6 owners, because the antenna is mounted dead center at the front of the roof; looks like Sh** and I mean Sh**…

I wish it was somewhere else on the car but hey you gotta get that signal right? But you can always do an antenna delete right? or is that not possible?

I like the shape.
I don't care either way for the material or color. But body colored paint WOULD be an improvement. |

Does not matter to me. Sure you'll be able to get a rubber filler to replace the antenna when removed.

I'm not really enthusiastic about it, but I don't hate it. If there were an "I don't care option" I would have picked that. Painting it would make it look a lot better I think. I do understand why it's on top of the roof and why it's standard equipment, so it doesn't really bother me. I actually have some left over victory red paint out in my garage so I may paint mine myself.

Whats One more Antenna? I have used the low profile/stealth ones. and the taller whip style. I like the taller ones better.
So what if I end up with 7 or more on the car. Although a truck driver on the CB stated, "Look at that Camaro Bear...He's got more Antennas that a 10 Point Deer." LOL |

the Ant. houses Onstar and XM, if you remove it youll lose your XM (for those who like XM).

Dislike - enough to change it; probably not. Like most have already said, if it were body color it would be an improvement and if it were at least not as big and not a shark fin, it would be better. At least it's not above the windshield... This may be one of the very few details I'm not liking on the car so far.

I actually think that some of the sharkfin antennae look good on cars.
I would just be happier if they were painted the same color as the body, similar to many BMWs. It's not too big of a deal but IMO colored antennae would look nicer. |

I don't really care for it either. I would prefer to see it "hidden" (if hidden how could I see it, right?). The two daily drivers I have now both have it (Sierra and Envoy). It's not a big deal, really but a car is more attractive without it.
