All windows on all cars without a window frame will rattle or shake if you slam the door.

Window indexing has been around for quite some time and is a proven effective way to ensure that the window seal is good. It is generally found on higher end cars like BMW so the fact that GM has done it for our Camaro should be seen as a good thing. For some reason alot of folks seem concerned about it. Is there something I am missing or is it just a lack of familiarity.

Mine's only a week old, but the indexing works great and the car is as tight and quiet as can be.

Drove a G37 this weekend that had indexing and it worked great. I am looking forward to it when I get my Camaro.
