Nightowl or Oracle?

I'm looking to had color changing halos... And was thrown between the two... I was wondering which one is better? Which one is brighter? And which one would you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance!!

Not really a valid question. They are two different things.

The Oracle is an LED ring. The NightOwl kit is a replacement for the stock, white, halo LED. Our kit is the same idea.

"Better" depends on what you want.

"Brighter" would be an LED ring, for sure, if you don't mind the dots.

Note that you could use a NightOwl module to run the Oracle rings.

Okay.. So what's a good price on having Oracle kit installed? And have you heard of anyone having a problem with the seeing the dots?

Install prices vary by area. You will need to get with someone near you, but, there should be people here that can chime in.

The dots won't show up in most photos, but, you can clearly see them in person. If you want them to be very bright, that's your only option, though. GM switched to multiple LED's on the 2014 halos to get them brighter.

Note that while the LED rings are brighter, the single-LED replacement is not dim by any means.

seeing the dots is one thing. Seeing the ones that burned out is another.
the factory HALO with a different LED looks better. but that's my 2 cents

-Remove the front bumper (I opted to remove the front wheels and wheel liners for better access).
-Remove the headlights
-Open up both the access panels (openings) on the headlights.
-Cut the old LED wire, unscrew the bracket holding the old LED, install the new LED, feed the new LED through the small hole, seal it up, close up the two access panels.
-Do the same for the other headlight.
-Next mount headlights again
-mount the control box
-Run the wire extension from the drivers side to the control box and connect, then connect the passenger side, mount the ground.
-Plug in the two wires in the fuse box, plug in the WiFi, download the app, set it up.

-Turn on and have fun.

Sorry. Broke both hands/wrists in July in a cycle wreck. Can't type that much yet. Great write up, Pewterz!

The LED installation is easy with the included video IMO. It will take some patience and you will need a 1/4" drive swivel to get the heat sink unscrewed inside. Without the video that they send I would have thrown my headlights in the trash.
