Sorry Jason, if it doesn't go for $650, I'm keeping it. Two offers pending for the full amount, just waiting on payment.

Good luck on selling a single bolt cam. Offer to give it to me and I wouldn't even take it. I'd like my engine to stay in one piece! Besides, I'd feel guilty selling it to someone knowing they might actually use it. Good luck to you, but im thinking your stuck with it, especially seeing thecengine failure threads with single bolt cams. Try eBay. Your best bet. I don't anyone on here has the balls to buy it.

Single bolt cam = engine failures?? Where is this proof? I guess all the custom single bolt comp cams that notable tuners are using would be junk then

So two confirmed failures with a single bolt cam and all of a sudden your an expert? What about the thousands that are running around with properly installed single bolt cams that are just fine? The most recent thread from huggerorange clearly shows the installer overlooked a pin length issue, and the other admitted he used improper springs and had severe coil bind. How is any of that the fault of the cam? What about the hundreds of thousands of stock LS3 Camaro and Corvette engines running around with single bolt cams...better tell them to quit driving them because it's just a matter of time in your xpert opinion. I work on $100,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles everyday ( I'm a Master Certified Mercedes-Benz Technician and the shop foreman at my dealer) that use a very similar single bolt setup on our overhead cam 156 motors (6.3 as in S63, E63, C63 etc..). I'm growing very tired of the keyboard experts on these forums, so excuse my harsh words...but really......you read a couple posts and think your an xpert and chime in on MY classified add in an attempt to scare people away? Have you ever turned a wrench in your life ? If your not interested in what I have for sale..keep your comments to yourself and move on.

I never said anything.... People are forgetting that there is a dowel pin also and when everything is tightened to spec should be perfectly fine...

PS, this is the best cam on the market at a very good price, I'm just Gunna hold off because I've decided to take a slightly different approach after speaking with TS.

No worries Jason, I was directing my comments at the post quoted. Good luck with your build!

Like I said...everyone is an expert......They read a couple threads and now they know everything. I make my living working on very expensive vehicles, and would have no problem installing this in my car, or selling it to anyone. Installed properly the design is fine. With "high performance" shops popping up on every corner, I'm surprised there are not more stories like the carnage seen on this forum. A bad installer can give a parts company a bad rep in a hurry....after all who wants to admit they were responsible for that kind of damage?

If it makes anyone feel better Texas Speed suggested this cam and told me that the three bolt is a piece of mind ONLY as they have built high horsepower vehicles with ZERO issues using single bolt.

Hmmmm...well go ahead and make up a reason why your selling it. Getting a three bolt cam maybe...nah that couldn't be it. your so right, I've never turned a wrench in my life. I'm an Internet mechanic. Sike. I don't need to throw out my credentials or my experience to try and prove my mechanical worth. But rest assured, I have a couple certifications and I've built an engine or two (dozen+) and quite a few transmissions. No need to argue or get pissy tho. I'm not trying to shit on your thread, I just thought it was either comical that after you following huggers thread, you decide to sell your single bolt cam. Or it's just a coincidence? But really, I don't blame you. You can ask speed shops all you want if they have seen this failure or this failure...mostly they won't own up to it. You and I both know that the ls series engines are known for oil pump problems...I was at my local speed shop asking if they had ever seen one fail or the valve get stuck. I was told no. Hmmm, we know the truth about that. Well anyway, I apologize for butting in...but I think youd get more for it on eBay. Good luck to you.
