Is the RS package a good deal?

If you don't get to keep the stock wheels and such the real price is up near 3k, so is the RS a good deal or big money maker for gm

3K for RS package? It is like $1700 (Canadian). and yes it is a good deal. especially for the HID/HALOS and wheel upgrade.

It depends on whether or not you want the HIDs and Halos. The lights alone are like 800 and my RS package on the invoice is only less than 2k. So like I said it all depends on whether you want the regular halogen lights or the kick A$$ lights of the Halos and HIDs...

The way i see it, Its a good deal for LTs, but I dont think its that great of a deal for SSs. SSs already have 20" wheels and the Spoiler, and they only knock $275 off the price?

For LTs you get Spoiler, Roof Ditch Molding, upgraded from 19" wheels to 20" Midnight Silver Wheels, HIDs & the tail lights. Price is like $1475.

For SS you get Roof Ditch Molding, HIDs, tail lights, upgrade from 20" sterling silver to 20" Midnight Silver, for a price of $1200.

Its sort of a rip off to people who bought SSs, if you ask me. Atleast comparing to the LT/RS package.

when i say 3k i mean thats the real price when you factor in that you are giving up your regular 18in wheels and tires, and your regular head and tail lamps, because you dont get them if u get the RS package

WELL YOUR GIVING UP THOSE RIMS FOR BETTER ONES SO GETTING AN UPGRADED COST NOT A REPLACEMENT COST.

Yea, you're not really giving them up...you're upgrading. Headlights are worth about $800, spoiler about $400 (painted), Painted roof ditch modings about $200, darkened taillights about $100, 20" wheels and Pirelli P-Zero's about $850. So, yes, it is well worth it.

If you are getting a LT...GET THE RS PACKAGE...SO WORTH IT! If you are getting the SS...you don't need it.

like others have said its not worth it on the SS, but is it coold to have the headlights YES, thats why i waisted 1200 bucks getting it. Thats a problem with a lot of options on the camaro in my mind. They grouped them way to much and put them in wrong groups. A lot of the options have numerous parts to them, and only some parts people like and some parts people dont like. So a lot of people are paying for options they like and dont like. Just the way it is,
