Shifter feel? Hurst vs MGW
Hey guys I haven't been able to try out a camaro yet let alone a hurst or mgw shifter so I was wondering if some of you could let me know how they feel? I really like the very direct clicky feel kind of like the WRX Sti or the mini Cooper, I also tried out a challanger gear box and hated it big time, mustang felt ok... But didn't really like it. Has anyone tried out any of these cars and know if the hurst or mgw feel anything like one of them? Any information or comments are greatly appreciated!

If you want a shifter that si very clicky and requires slightly more force, then the current Hurst would be good.
The MGW is more refined and a slightly longer throw, but still a drastic improvement over stock. It is great if you drive the car a lot, and dont want to be tired of shifting when stuck in traffic!! The Hurst that will be coming as a factory option will have the longest throw of all 3, but will still be better than the normal shifter. |
