I like to custom my car. I went with a 1SS 6M without the RS package because I didn't see a point in paying extra for things I will eventually change anyway. Things like rims, leather seats, strips, body trim. The first thing I will most likely do is a ground effects kit. I've also figured out how I want to redo the interior. Once I've put a few miles on it, I'll start considering the engine and suspension.

Basicly what I'm saying is think about what you plan to do in the future. Don't get the upgrade if your going to go aftermarket in the future anyway.

It sounds like you're someone who likes to modify a car. If that is the case, why wait for something you'd most likely alter?

21's? IMO, totally not worth it. Again, if you're going to alter the car, why pay more to ad something you can get aftermarket and pay less for it?

Lastly, Crofton, MD?

I'm close to you. Gimmie a call.

If you're selling them for less than MSRP (not including discounts and rebates) please PM me!

Ummm.... there are many dealers selling for below MSRP on this forum. Just check out the 'good guys' thread.

We just bought a IBM 2SS/RS for GMS (employee) pricing... minus USAA rebate ($750)... minus GM 60 day return waiver ($500)... minus Obama bucks (car tax 'rebate', approx $500)... works out to more than $4000 below MSRP.

It's possible to get GSU (supplier) pricing if you dig around, USAA discount has been extended (if you qualify for this), GM 60 day waiver should still be available...

You say below MSRP 'without discounts and rebates'... I don't know how much lower than GSU + USAA + 60 day rebate you're looking for, but that's $2250 below MSRP right there.

Good Luck!

get a 1ss now, it's affordable and you still get the same power of the 2ss. then the money you save you can put towards mods.

I was wondering if HUD will make it into the 2011 model year, given it was originally listed for initial production, then pushed back. I also wonder about a power adjustable passenger seat given the issues/complaints folks have now for shorter passengers.
