Interesting Auction upcoming in Reno

Make you wonder if its an outfit that does the conversions for SLP has hit the wall. Lot of ZL 575s for sale and Firehawks. If its a collection......why would there be several of the same cars identical? The mind races, but after all, this will coincide with Hot Auguest Nights in Reno so it should be interesting

Might be a good way to pick up a converted Camaro on the cheap.....real cheap

Not at all -- SLP does their own conversion. They are not having problems. There ARE those who say "well - I could get the same HP for a lot less" -- and yes, I suppose one could - however, it takes substantial investment to tool up for doing a run of cars -- further, SLP does a great job of 'validating' what they do.....

The cars you refer to belong to a collector - (a great collection, I might add!)

Not all of the cars you see are up for auction - and they all have reserve, so it's unlikely that someone could pick one of the cars up for an unbelievably low price.

(...what's disturbing is that you get a sense that this is a bankruptcy - it is not)
