VET FOR A Camero
Traded my 2002 Vet on a 2008 Buick Lacerne for my WIFE> Having to much trouble with the vet. Antilock breaks, traction control power door locks, air ,headlight switch, and harmonic balancer between 65000 and 75000 miles. Looked at a 07 in April and bought a 2lt ABM Camero instead. Plus the vet burned oil a quart every 2000miles and another at 3000. To top it all off my son just got a new neighbor Guess who bought the vet I traded in.

I own a 2010 RS SS and a 08 Z06 your right they are so different but I love my Camaro my wife gets tired of me talking about it. It's hard to pick between either whats funny is one is $30+ grand the Z06 was $80 grand so with that said you can't beat it .I buy what like I don't worry if it's more expensive or what anyone thinks if I just owned my Vette I will would think about having a Camaro every day.

I hope the guy that asks the question ," Is everyone on this forum rich ? ", doesn't read this post. Anyway the Corvette is a neat car, but no back seat. Only one dog or my wife could go with me. This is beside the fact I will never be able to afford one.

I've got both as well, '08 Corvette and a '10 1SS. Like them both, but for different reasons. I like the seats and sight lines of the C6 better (and the sound w/ the NPPs open), but the Camaro w/ its A6 is easier to drive in town and is a little better suited to the potholes and steep inclines we seem to have around here. I do like the vette better, hope that doesn't get me banned.

I waited for the Camaro to come out after seeing the Concept. By the time it did, I was in a position to buy a Z06. Test drove both. Honestly wasn't a hard choice. Z06. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing the Camaro. But as others have said, the Z06 is just an all out beast of a car - 505HP, 3200 lbs. The best single word I can think of to describe the acceleration of this car is "Violent". And I wasn't looking for a daily driver, so those aspects didn't factor either.
Still enjoy seeing a new Camaro on the street, but I have no regrets.

Not long before I bought the Camaro, I sold my C5. Like someone else posted, I wish I could afford both. I miss the nearly 30 MPG of the C5 and the track performance of the Vette, but the Camaro has it's advantages too. My C5 was modded and ran 12.2s at 117 but the Camaro is going to get close before I'm done with it. Both are awesome cars, and guess what???? they're both CHEVYS!!!
