There are all sorts of different squeaks in this thread. None of them sound like what mine was doing. In any event, I'm not saying let it ride. I would just prefer to do it myself. The dealer runaround is more frustrating than taking the car apart. The dealer is where you go if you want to find missing bolts and oil leaks down the road.

In the end I put a cam in the car and never heard the squeak again. Problem solved.
