Unhappy Bluetooth Phone Option Problems

Dam, everything was working great for several months. Making & receiving calls- no issues whatsoever.

Last week, when trying to "Call" a stored contact, the phone worked fine all the way to dialing the number. As soon as the number dialed, it hung up. I think it might have rang once- can't remember since it hung up fast.

I could call out from my phone and it would use the Camaro bluetooth- hopefully it wasn't ONSTAR. Nothing to seemed to work. So I decided to re-pair the cell phone. First, I deleted the phone using the Camaro manual. OK. Then I went to re-pair. The cell phone didn't seem to go in to discovery mode. I thought that maybe it was because the General Motors was still in the bluetooth phone directory, so I deleted that from the phone. Now when I try to pair the phone, it says bluetooth connection is busy.

Anybody know what in the world is going on here? Like I said earlier, the phone worked well for months and is one of the LG Env3 phones using Verizon service.

Dam, I'm the only one having this problem? Must be the cell phone. LG Env3.

No one has had their phone hang up right after it has dialed out?

No problems re-pairing?

I tried a different way of pairing by starting the bluetooth device search on the cell phone first, prior to starting the process on the cars' system. This at least fixed the "Bluetooth Device Busy" message. But the car never found the cell phone to pair to. Never got a chance to put the 4 digit code in.

It sucks not talking hands free after doing it for months.

I had this exact problem. Finally after 3 weeks of trying,...it finally synced up again. No one could tell me why. Anyway, it's been 2 months and so far no more problems.

similar problems here... mine worked fine for a long while and now I can't answer incoming calls. I can make calls out, no problem, but I have to use the headset to hang up. I deleted and re-paired just fine but it didn't fix the problem.

Couple of things to try, pair someone else's phone see if it works, If it does it's your phone, if it does not it's your car. If it's your phone check your software version. It should be VX920V06. Here's how to update, make sure you're in 3g
From the main screen, press Menu [OK]
Press Settings & Tools, press OK
Press Phone Info, press OK
Scroll to Software Update, press OK
Select Check New, press OK

Did you try to reboot your phone? If BT comes up as "Device busy" during pairing, its possible the BT stack on the phone might be stuck in discovery mode. Also, do you have another bluetooth enabled phone (wife/friend) that can pair to your car? It would help narrow it down and help determine if its a phone or car issue.

Downloading software update right now. Be nice if that was the issue. My son has the exact same phone and it still works fine. I paired his phone the same time I did mine back around Christmas time. I have only tried to re-pair my phone. Looks like part of the software update is re-booting, so we'll see if that works too.

Sorry others have had similar issues- but atleast I don't feel as crazy. I'd like to get this fixed asap since Maryland just passed the new cell phone law.

bigsq- pic reminds me of the old Godzilla movies. And that is the software version my phone is now at.

One thing I thought I noticed: The pairing icon- looks like one triangle on top of another, that is currently displayed on my phone screen--> I don't remember seeing this icon on my sons phone when I went to see if his still made calls with the Camaro.

Phone paired great this morning and is making calls with no problems. Not sure if it was the wait, reboot, or software version update. Either way, works now. Thanks for any and all help.
