Got them from Lowes in Hardware section in the cabinets you could probably get by using 7/8 length

Nice! Curious to hear if you notice any change in high speed corners and if the added weight is a benefit...

You'd be lucky if it weighs 5-10lbs more so to the low side...

So something occurred to me. When I normally jack up the front end I use one of the cross members on the sub frame that will be covered up by the pan.

I would raise it there and then put jack stands under the pinch welds. With the pan I can't do that anymore...

What are you guys doing?

Pull it on a set of ramps high enough to pull the pan and then jack the rest of the way up

I was thinking that. Kind of wanted to avoid buying ramps. This damn car is so low that none of the regular ramps clear. I'll ended up having to buy race ramps with the extensions and what not. It'll be a bunch of cash.

I built my own with 2x4's and 2x10's lol. And cut them to make ramps, which are tall enough to get a jack under the car. I back on to them since they aren't long so they don't have any front splitter clearance issues or anything

Similar to this but only 2 blocks tall and not nearly this intense lol https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BjgKMkzIhU4/maxresdefault.jpg

Haha yeah that person's are crazy.

Mine are just like this, but the top landing is only about 8" long and my ramp slope is much shallower

Mine are very similar in construction but much longer and 4 or 5 boards tall.
