traction issue

I just put on the Nurburgrings with Invo tires, Love the look and feel, but i have one complaint and wondered if anyone else had this issue.
When im in a hard 1-2 or 2-3 shift i get a lot more wheelspin than i had with my stockers and falken 452s. just curious if this is due to the weight reduction and if there is a cure for this, I was playing around with a new GT the other night and i got a hair sideways going into second for about 15 feet....didnt particulary like the feel LOL

Did you go larger on the rim size? 22's? That will hurt traction.

Changing the rim size can hurt traction. Also, if your tire is to big or to small for your rim you will have bad traction issues. What size rim/tire?

I went with Nurburgrings with Invo tires . 10" rear with 315 35 20s Ya I know need 10.5 wheel But I was told invos run small. And they look cool as hell.
But I do seem to have more drift when hitting it around a corner . Not sure from a dig. You do lose 6 LBS per wheel & that = more power ?

315 on a 10" should not give you a traction issue. Check air pressure, also if like us out here, the temp dropped big time...more power and colder street less traction!

What tire pressure do you guys run on the street? I am currently running stock tire pressure 36psi and I'm spinning everywhere. Do you lower it much for the street?

You need to go with a sticker rear tire like maybe the NT05s or definately the NT555R drag radials.

The Nurburgrings are much ligher than stock and the spin the tire much easier (been there done that).
