New 45th 2LT Vert
A new car purchase was not in the plan for the next few years, but after lusting for one of these since they were reintroduced, an expensive repair on my truck pushed me to make an impulse buy on a new Camaro a few days ago. I found a 45th Anniversary convertible (an April 2012 build date according to the tag in the door jam) at a steal of a deal, below invoice just a few miles from the house.
This car is full of awesomeness! I've spent most of the weekend taking the wife and kids for joy rides. Now the wife wants one too.  I've been reading this forum for a few years now, but just joined yesterday. I have to say that the Camaro5 forums have been an outstanding source of information. Thanks to all of you members for creating such a great place! |

Congrats!
Looks like our cars are twins.... I have a 2LT 45th vert as well. Make sure to read up on the two-bucket wash method BEFORE letting anyone touch your car. CFM is so close to black it shows scratches very quickly... and you'll tear-up (or worse) once you see swirl marks on her. The "Cosmetic Maintenance: Washing, Waxing, Detailing, Bodywork, Protection" forum is a great area. |
