Where do you guys get your emblems painted? I thought about buying the vinyl decals, but I wonder how well they would withstand the elements (rain, road debris, etc).

Never had one, but I've heard they only look good for a few years. If you want your bowtie colored for the life of the car, might as well go all the way & paint it rather than buying new vinyl and applying it (or paying someone to apply it) every few years.

CaptVlad had my bowties painted black as part of my Christmas present. He got it done at a Chevy dealership and it was $75 total for both, plus they washed the car.

Oh, OK.

That'll work out fine for me. I'd rather use the vinyl just so I don't commit to one style/color. In about 3 years, I'll pull the trigger on a more permanent solution.
