If there was one thing you would like GM to fix in the Camaro, what would it be?
For me it would definitely be the manual transmission. My 2SS LS3 took me to driving nirvana until I ran into the 1-2 shift grind during hard acceleration. A search shows I am not the only one alone with this issue.
At 2500 miles, changed shifter to MGW but still have grind. From my grandfather, to my dad, and now to me, my family has always been Chevy people. Dealer has not called me back despite leaving messages. If GM doesn't fix this to my satisfaction I will trade it in for a Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger - two cars I have driven which does not have a transmission grind.

More interior room and less bulk, can't see...etc. Its like climbing into an 80's Corvette for me. Can't see curbs for poop.
Challenger is the better 'everyday' car I guess, I drove an SRT the other day, sadly an auto...it was blah but you didn't have to use the force to figure out where the median is. |

I felt the same way until the grinding. Pretty embarrassing when people watch you take off and then grrrrrrrrind when you shift into second, and then smell burning odor...

The L99 should not have AFM. That's all I can think of. Awesome car now that I tuned it out. No complaints.

Tap shift moved to stick shift by moving it sideways to up shift and down shift.
