Well I am in a G6 rental for two days, O'Reilly is going to replace my mirror and fix my ambient lighting in the door (they probably unhooked it the first time they went to work on the mirror). I am also going to have them adjust the parking brake (I think it could be tighter), and do the PDIM (radio, bluetooth , and USB) update. I gave the Service Manager all the information off this web site, so I hope after mine anyone will be able to get this update without the hassle. The G6 is a little different from my Camaro, no bluetooth, XM, hands free calling, no power, or people giving me thumbs up when I drive by. I guess I have become really spoiled with my Camaro, I miss her already........................................... ...................

If you get a rental from O'Rielly, make sure they give you a clean one. This G6 was clean on the outside, but holy crap, finger prints all over the back window, sticky steering wheel, and had a heavy film on the windows, probably from smoke, which it reeks of. I know I am just butt hurt, I can't drive my baby, well at lest there were no feet marks on the inside windshield

Took mine in on Monday to have a few dents taken out (the dent above the Camaro insignia on Rt fender and the little ding on Lt fender above the GM insignia). Both on car when I picked it up. Dent buster guy met me there and it only took about 45 minutes, looks great. I'm up for Sunday as long as it's not 102 out, can't wait to see those headers!

...sticky.....feet marks.....time for some hand sanitizer. LOL

I got my car back tonight, I think they tightened the brakes too much, when I got home I could smell brake, and when I got on the highway and went over 45 there was a vibration, any thoughts? No luck on the PDIM update either, I'll just wait untill they get up to speed with that.

I wouldn't drive it far if the brakes get hot, better keep an eye on your rims. Dont touch the metal directly just hold your hand by it. If it's really hot, I would call them right away.

How far does the emergency brake handle pull up now? There should be some play or movement with the brake disk in the rear caliper if you check them.

Found this on Cragslist just now.

It was shortly before 10AM this morning and you were driving on Helen, approaching Cherry. You were in a blue Camaro I think with a white racing stripe. I stopped to watch your car drive by cause it was such a beautiful piece of machinery and was pleasantly surprised to see a young, hot guy driving. I was in a purple top... as I was staring at you driving past, you looked at me... I'd very much like to get to know you....
