There was apparently a guy who ejected from an SR71 at Mach 3.1 but that's a different way to break the sound barrier.

I am a Sox fan and that means I can never like the Tigers. On the other hand, For the Love of the Game I am rooting for them

Some of you have done as much or more travel than I as part of your career responsibilities so you'll understand. The road wins, those really important victories on the road you want to celebrate with your wife and kids just are not the same three days later when you get home.

%^&*% Tigers even get me at the movies

That's the Bill Weaver story, Jan 1966. I forgot about that little milestone in aviation. Quite a miracle that he survived. His co-pilot wasn't so lucky.

Miguel Cabrara...tripple crown winner.... RBI double, Tigers 2-0, life is good...especially when the Yankee's are floundering..., is it Detroit's year?

Had to be amazing to be there. Glad to see Tigers finally getting it together when it counts the most. Verlander wasn't his best and they left too many stranded on base but against these slumping Yankees it's enough.

Love that Detroit sports tradition, Red Wings octopus tossess on the ice, many sports titles and legendary heroes, a real blue collar town that loves it's sports. Bring a broom with ya' and watch the Tiger's game on TV.
