Skip Shift Fix?

Hi folks, I have a question regarding the skip shift problem on a 2010 MT SS. Will the tunes which come on the SCT tuner fix the skip shift issue on the 2010 Camaro SS or do I need a custom tune from Ted Jannetty?

Thanks in Advance!

If all you're wanting is to get rid of the skip-shift, spend 14-25 and get a skip shift eliminator...

I also was planning doing a tune but using a tune that comes with the SCT. Is a custom tune the best approach?

If you buy the SCT from Ted the tune he gives you will take care of the skip shift. Be careful when buying a used SCT because if you didn't get it from Ted he will charge $150. Make sure to fugure that into the total cost.

WOW $150, for that price it is probably better to buy the SCT from Ted and get the custom tune with it for free.

Thanks

It's only on the V8 cars. Takes you from 1st to 4th (makes you skip gears) if you accelerate below a certain rate, with the engine at a certain temp and speed between 15 and 19 mph (I think). Designed to help the SS bypass the gas guzzler tax.

Do search if you want the specifics
