DefenderWorx Products - Camaro 2010
OK, before I dump $1k on bling, can someone vouch for the quality of these DefenderWorx Products (Transformers™ Camaro (2010-2011) Products) [not the bar stool & furniture tho! :-O]
http://defenderworx.com/our-products/transformers/ Are they really worth almost $200 a pop? Is there a better source for buying? Where can I get the Headrests & Centre Console, Decepticon versions? Is the quality good? Thanks ! |

I have the Chrome Shifter and the quality is top notch. I will say I bought it exactly half price on these forums. I would be hard pressed to pay $200 for some of the stuff you can get for WAY less from one of the vendors on the site. I'm sure they'll chime in soon. But to answer your question, the quality will be as good as it gets.

I have the denferworx locking fuel door and its good quality. As to their other products, I can't vouch for them but I you might want to check from GM partshouse because I know they sell transformers stuff and might be able to get you a deal if you're buying it for your Camaro/

I realize the original question is from many months ago, but I feel I need to add something in case anyone else is going to look into the defenderworx products. I have the locking door, but it needed better instructions. If you really want it to work well, you have to cut off the tip of the plunger on the piece you pop out to add the bracket and tape too. Another big thing I found sucked super bad is that they put horrible tape on the fender lettering. I spent an hour and a half with a razor blade installing the proper 3M tape to the letters before installing. The quality of the machined parts are fantastic. I should know, I used to work for a CNC metal shop, but it's like they half ass the portion where they help you get your expensive accessories installed on your car properly.

Happy with all my kit :-)
Gear stick took a bit of working out but all OK now for 9 months+ Wish they did more Deception stuff, like full set of Engine Caps. New badges are not graphically style correct IMO. Still, all good ! |
