Ground Effects Issue Please Help - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My Camaro came in today but the dealership informed me that the body color ground effects (Victory Red) that I ordered are on National Back Order and there isn't a ETA of when they can get them. Does anyone know about this or how long the back order is?

Why don't you order them from GMPartsHouse. I really doubt the dealership can beat their price.

I have been calling places that I found online that carry GM parts but they all said that they do not have them in stock. They said if they are on back order from Gm then they can't get them either

I haven't checked, but likely a result of them being discontinued (ie: not available for 2014).

They will need to be around for awhile, but I can see the prices going up. Which is likely why there are shortages right now.

I found them on ebay. Will the dealership be able to by them from there or will I get a song and dance from them on why they can't?

Chances are you will need to purchase them out of your pocket and not be able to roll the cost into your car purchase. Your only option if you need to include the GFX into your purchase is pay for the car w/ the GFX as ordered and when the GFX arrive the dealership will need to install them.
