Question Eibach sways any good?

Considering a set pretty soon. Mostly for street use- with the exception of the Fest in April

Also considering a strut tower brace and a set of 1" drop springs, but probably gonna hold out for BMR on those. Anyone have experience with these Eibach anti-rolls?

I love mine. Have them on full hard. Also have the Eibach springs and a BMR strut tower brace. To me they made the handling better without firming up the ride too much. I feel they are very good value.

Good value. Good change in the handling and feel. Springs offer a great stance. Great price. Are they the best..... no but how much would you notice a difference in what you need them for vs a more expensive better brand? Probably not much at all. I love mine

Sounds good, thanks for the input guys! I'm trying to finesse in as many mods as I can before the Fest, so I may go Eibach for the springs as well- based on your feedback they sound great for my applications!

Eibach

I have the Eibach setup as well. I installed my Anit Roll kit front and rear sways back in December. I originally just installed the eibach lowering springs but purchased the sway bars two weeks later I enjoy it.

Right on!

I see you drive a 2LT, and these are actually listed as compatible with LT/SS... Factoring in the extra weight, you guys think they'll make a worthwhile difference on the SS?

They should be compatible. I ordered my eibach setup thru tirerack.com It was super fast shipping.

Ben, I have BMR sways and Eibach springs. My suggestion is either work with BMR direct or one of the forum vendors (ahem... ApexChase) and try to get a package deal with springs/ sways. You can't go wrong either way... The ride is not hurt and the preformace is drastically better after the spring/sway mod!

Thanks Jason! Will try and reach Apex pretty soon- I really can't spend too much more than $5-600 on this unfortunately, so I'm gonna get what I can... If it came down to one or the other, would you suggest springs or sways first?

I am betting you are VERY close to the ball park with $5-6 hundred. I paid $200 shipped for my springs and only $170 TOTAL for the sways BUT that was the C5Fest BOGO deal that you WON'T find again. I am pretty sure you could get all the hardware for what your looking to spend.

Now the install is another thing. I have installed at least 10 sets of each and I can say its VERY easy but takes a while first time. I spent better part of a day on my first spring/sway install but now can do it all in about 3 hours if I stayed at it. If you needed any pointers on installing if you go that route, let me know. Not sure what your tool supply looks like but to do the job you need a lot of metric sockets and open ended wrenchs. You may spend more buying tools than an install. Consider another $100 for a 4 wheel alignment when done. You could always come to our mod day and I'd do it for free but the commute would be hell!

If it came down to it, springs for the stiffness and improved ride and look, then sways. I did springs, then sways about 2 months later. Springs impove the "floaty feel" and bounce over bumps. The ride is a tad rougher but nothing major. The sways will just add increased stability and cornering ability. I would say doing sways first would not be the best route. Sure it could be done but I'd stiffen up the ride first.

As far as strutt tower brace, do that if you like but I will tell you these cars are VERY stiff. You can jack up one side and it lifts BOTH! Its actually pretty amazing! Let me know if you need any pointer/help!!!
