Cool video. Man I wish I lived somewhere central so I could go to all of the awesome tracks over there and here.

Damn. Chevy should be ecstatic about this. You have a stock 1LE and you're showing nearly everyone on that course who's boss. You're a darn good driver, Mark! It looked like you passed a Lotus and a couple Porches, no?

Meant to ask you, did you follow the brake burnishing instructions before racing?
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...8&postcount=10 Also, did you upgrade the brake fluid before racing? |

You know, you're only 3sec from Randy Posbt's best lap in a 2010 SS.
He's a pro and a veteran at Laguna Seca... great first day at the track!

If you want to look at his video lapping Laguna in 1:45.7
You might want to watch his shift points, if you are thinking to go back there...

Thanks guys, and oh yeah i will be going back, and i know i will be able to shave of several seconds. It will be a while though as i have my Silverstate races coming up in May and Sept.and these are $700.00 a pop,but having my speed limit at 140 mph is pretty sweet.

[QUOTE=cornerspeed92;6301415 yes i did the brake burnishing about a month before track day,man it takes a lot of time and needs to be done early in the morning with very few people on the frwy.[/QUOTE]
I did mine the other morning. Could you tell any difference afterwards in any street driving or braking? I tried to do a before and after (next morning, same road and conditions) 60-0 and 100-30 and really could not notice a difference. Hopefully it will help at the track in a couple weeks. I'm glad I did it, just wish I could tell something to be sure it "worked". |

I'm used to Randy videos where he's orating while driving. In this video he's clenching his teeth and seemingly holding on for dear life!
