Out of the months looking for a camaro on autotrader cars.com and many other website, I never once saw 1LE in the title or written anywhere and they don't have it as an option you can select (like RS).

^^^ this is correct. You just have to look for black wheels on autotrader & cars.com.
I just did a nationwide search today and there are still some new 2013 1LEs available, some used but mostly I found 2014s and even afew 1SS 1LE '14s under $40k.
But be ready to travel, my local dealer only found 2 within 500miles and one was sold. They couldn't get the ones that i found from other dealerships cause they wernt in the GM data base, so I had to drive over a 1000mile round trip to get my 2SS 1LE. Maybe my dealer is an idiot but i didnt care, it was a fun trip home.

1LE is what we call it = SS performance is what the dealers know it as.

There are references and a picture in the 2013 Camaro brochure. Not too mention it's listed on the Chevrolet website, Chevrolet build site, and the software they use for ordering cars. So if they don't know it exists, go to a different dealer.

I got my 2SS 1LE 2 and a half weeks ago. It seriously took my dealer right at a month to get me one. 3 times he found one; but when he tried to work a deal with the other dealer to get it, he either didn't have anything in his inventory that they wanted, or they had just sold it.

This is a pretty rare option. Go to the main page of this site and look at the build numbers. Just over 1400 2SS 1LE's were built in 2013.

Do the mustang gt guys call their cars a TRACK PACK? Like: I was going to buy a new 1le but bought the new track pack instead. Its a SS with a 1le performance package and a GT with a track pack performance package.The 1le performance package doesn't mean 1/4 mile performance,right? Just curious.

I know this is not technically 100% true but I describe it as a ZL1 without the blower.

sadly i brought my car to the dealership and when as i was going inside one of the salesman says, it looks like a zl1 but the hood isnt right or the front bumper. A female salesperson goes, its a " 1le and he added the zl1 rockers, and thats bad azz". if i was the salesman, i would have gone inside and done some reading..

On the 2013 and 2014 Mustang you can add an option called the track pack. Its as close to a 1LE equivalent as you're going to get since they canned the Boss 302 for 2014 (The Boss 302 is also much more expensive than a 1LE). Its a performance package only available on the 6 speed, just like the 1LE. Also, if you are searching on Autotrader, just search on a camaro, then go into the advanced section and add 1LE as a keyword and you will find all the 1LE's for sale on Autotrader.

When I ordered my 1LE, the dealer did not know what I was asking for. So we sat down to his computer and I walked him through the ordering of my new car. Unless your lucky enough to have a 'gearhead' dealer, you the customer are likely to know more than they do when it come to the 1LE package. I haven't ridden my bike to work a single time since I picked up my car, 3 months and I still have not worn the "NEW" off of it. Hence the term: PERMAGRIN.

I was talking to a dealer today and he said he didn't see 1LE listed as an option for 2014 although he knew what it was. The build page on chevy's website still says 2013. Not sure what's going on but there are 2014 1LE's out there obviously.
