Well ran the tank down till low fuel light came on today and filled her up with E85, drove 10 miles home, hooked up HPTUNERS and reset stoich from 14.7 to 10.5 for e85 ( right now car only has about 80% e85 due to the couple gallons of 91 still in the tank ) , reset fuel trims, took it for a drive, definately can feel a difference.
Planning on dynoing it with stock tune ( with changed stoich ) to see the gains from just E85, then will tweak timing and afr to get some real power out of it. guess car wont be stock anymore |

I own a 2009 Challenger R/T and don't consider myself a knuckle head. Some guys over on the Challenger forum are die hard Mopar fans, just like some of you are die hard GM fans. I am neither, and just buy what I like, so I'm a bit more objective. When I see threads over there talking about being as fast or faster than Camaros I usually have to step in and correct them. There's just no way. The Camaro has BOTH Challengers beat in the performance department. If you want the fastest of the two for the money, the Camaro wins. If you want the most nostalgic and truer to its roots car the Challenger wins. I've always thought the Challenger was the better looking vehicle, but at MSRP too expensive for what you get. It's all in what one wants in the vehicle. I love the Challenger, but I'm also thinking of buying a Camaro as well. The best of both worlds. I'd own a Camaro today had the local dealer let me use my GMS discount. They said no, so I went and bought a Challenger when they did the EP++ deal and got $6,000 off the sticker price. VERY nice run on the track there bro! I'd love to see some others back it up. |

What's so funny is they have an "R/T kills" thread where they tell tall tales of stock R/Ts "smoking" Terminators, 450hp Roush Mustangs, Ferrarris, etc. And a Stang owner called them out. He said his club would gladly meet them at a track to settle the argument on the track like men. So far, no response from the Challenger geldings.... |

I smoked a Mustang GT twice in my R/T, but that's kinda like a high school senior beating up on a freshman at this point. Get into the blown or turbo'd ones and I won't even try. |
