so if you try to put fuel in your own vehicle in one of those states that forbide it do they go nuts on you? call 911 and sh&*? how would this appear on your rap sheet, "felony; fueling own vehicle" LOL, never heard of such a law! I know my mom used to only go to places that filled it up for you, but after a while she gave up and started doing it herself because there wasn't anyone in the area that did it for you any more.

Between this thread and the thread about needing a warning light to tell you to fill your windshield washer fluid I'm starting to be very concerned about our future.

Worked at a chevron station in the 1980's in high school. A genius driving an ambulance used a bic lighter to wedge into the pump handle so he could use the restroom. When he returned, he pulled the lighter out, caused a spark, and boom! Pumps caught fire, ambulance burned, station had to be rebuilt. Luckily I wasn't working that day!
