Using a GPS to Find Speed Traps?

ok I have a GPS which is cool, but I found this online and wondered if it works like it says it does, basicly you down load poi maps that are updated as needed. when your moving around in your car, it 'alerts you' to 'known' speed traps and traffic cameras.

Sounds cool ( I want it), does anyone on here use something like this? I think there are a couple of sites that do this. this is the one I was looking at.

Speed traps can always change. I would not get to comfy thinking you are safe.
My GPS told me to turn into a lake once.

iPhone has an app for that called Trapster, was kind of fun as a toy for a bit but not something I use while driving on a regular basis just too much trouble and having that on makes you more paranoid and distracted. Just drive normally and watch for cops in places you KNOW from experience that they are. Might be useful for a long trip to a place you are not familiar with.
