Why would you intentionally throw power away? The VVT cams make more power under the curve because of the VVT being able to advance and retard the cam timing on the fly as needed. Hell if I had a L99 car, you bet your a*a I'd be keeping VVT and ditching the DOD crap.

Same here. If I was an auto, I would definitely be looking to keep the VVT and just ditching the DOD stuff

You should do a rod mod intake and make just as much as that UDP, as well as picking up fat gains in the mid-range.

I’m all for VVT I think it’s great. I also think simpler is better. So that is why I mad my choice.
Does under the curve even matter when running as large of a stall as we have to with these larger cams? I feel like if we are running stalls that flash to 3400 the LS3 cam or a VVT cam will both be making good power by than?

But I’m by no means no expert at all. First car I’ve modded. Parts are purchased. Cam install in 5 days it will still be a great car.

I was thinking gpi stage 3 with all supporting hardware, converter, trunion upgrade, LS3 conversion. Long tubes, high flow cats, 3"cat back. Rear suspension supporting mods.

I have the 3.91's in already. And drag radials.Would that get 450-500 rwhp? Go with a LS conversion or keep vvt?
Get a Max Package! And definitely keep VVT.

Talk about one hell of a gain my friend. Nice numbers for sure. How does it sound with the LT's and the ATAK Catback?

Any dyno vids?

I can post videos how does everyone normally do it a YouTube link?

It drives great the stall is really tight I should have went higher. I have to be sure I’m on the brakes because it will still idle foward a lot. But man it sounds amazing now.

Yes definitely post a youtube link. I'd love to see it. I bet you really feel the difference with gains like that. I have a 2010 LS3 that I just wrapped up a header and cam install and made almost identical numbers to you... but you are doing it through the auto whereas mine is manual. I have a ton of respect for that for sure!!! Check out my new upload when you get a chance... my dyno pull and numbers are posted at the end of the video... almost looks identical as yours but not as clean at lower RPMs.
