what size t tap for footwell lights
what gage wire is the gray wire you tap into for the footwell lights,trying to figure out what size t tap do I need 14-16 or 18 gage tap

18 gauge should be fine. Those are pretty tiny wires under there.

I shave a little of the sheathing off (about 1/2 - 3/4 way around) with a razor blade to minimize the possibility of stress cutting the wire and help ensure some copper to T-tap contact.

there 22 gauge wire so use only red/pink t-taps, if you go to big you may blow up your BCM, its happened to 2 members on here so use the right parts.

This is good info to know. I knew the wires were tiny, and I would only use the red taps, but I had no idea about the BCM issue from using the wrong size connector. Thanks, Ofer!
