I want to change my bowtie from the stock to a black chevy symbol. What do you guys think is best or recommend?

Also I want to tint my windows (legal limit 30% in Illinois) any suggestions or recommendations on where and how I should do that?

plastidip or vinyl off ebay for the bow ties, I have 35% tint but wish I could have gone 20% but it is alot better than stock, the pic below is before tinting

I went to tint world in bensenville for my tints. As for the 30% tint, the cops around are not very strict on it. I've spoken to numerous police officers and even have a cousin who is a police officer, and he says they don't even carry the meter that tests how tinted the windows are. So long as your not doing anything that warrants a check, you'll be fine. I have 20% on mine and it doesn't even turn a head from the cops.
