Best place to run that one is to the fuse box. Then the button sits on your dash right at the bottom of the A-pillar.
Get the visor mount from Southern Car Parts and the wire runs nicely tucked inside the headliner and down the Apillar to the fuse box. Is this the same hookup for the mirror no matter the brand of radar detector? Looking to do this in my 2010

Parts of it are, I did a thread on hard wiring it to the dash and one of the mods decided to merge it with someone else's much to my frustration......
