I'm going to go with the SS. Not a hard choice. All that matters is what you can afford. Insurance on the SS at 17 is gonna be a bitch.

Why would you want a vert if you live in a winter climate?

The Audi will cost much more to maintain in the long run, my moms A4 already had to have a new cam swapped in because the high pressure fuel pump wiped it. At less than 100k miles.

The A4 is a nice car, but anything German isn't cheap to keep running. I think you'd find that small block much cheaper to maintain in the long run. Plus, the camaro is way cooler and faster! lol. Sounds way more bad ass.

So I take it you've decided that aspect and the others raised by people are a non-issue?

It sounds to me like you've got your heart set on the Camaro. That said - go get the sucker already! Just do us a favor, DON'T wrap it or yourself around a pole please? There are people with years of driving cars under their belt who get into these things and underestimate it. It's easy to do.

I guess I'll be the first to say congrats on the upcoming purchase, and do post up pics when you have actually obtained the beast.
