HELP Car won't start

When started car it sounded weaker and weaker each time before it started. Finally it stopped and now it just clicks when I turn the keys. Tried jumping it and it did not work. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Thanks for the help.

Did you try jumping it from the battery - in the trunk - or the terminals under the hood? I'd try directly on the battery. Did it still "click" when you jumped it? Probably just a bad connection. And some batteries only live 5 years and I see you have a 2010.

Most likely a battery issue or faulty connection(s).

Possibility of it being an issue with your alternator but, I highly doubt it.

Usually there are signs that are seen before hand that indicate the battery dying. My auto start would just click and stop, the lights would dim etc. I changed the battery and she roared back to life with no issues

mostly likely the battery is toast and won't even hold a charge from a jump. if it kept cranking slower and slower, why didn't you get a new one? is there any sign more indicative of a bad battery?

Definetly sounds like the battery. See if it will start with a jump and if it does then there's your problem. could even be the alternator not charging the battery... Best bet would be to take it down to an auto parts store, they usually offer free testing of both.

Check your terminals and make sure they are actually tight... I've helped fix more than one where the loose terminals were the issue, one wouldn't even work being jumped with the loose terminal. It needs a good connection for all that initial crank amperage

Is that the original battery? If so time for a replacement

Time to pony up some cash and get a new battery.

either battery or starter. And from your description I would say starter. Jumping should have started a "dead" car then it would have slowly ran out of charge if the battery could charge and would at least start eventually from the power of the other cars battery. I BTW just had to have my starter replaced as it slowly got worse.
