GM College Discount/ Credit Union Discount

Hey guys, was just wondering if the college discount applies for the 2010 camaro?..and also is it quick and easy to apply for a credit union, and when and if i do get it, can it be applied right away for the discount?...and what are the cons of being a part of a credit union. Sorry for all the questions, i am just not too informed..thank you

Yes the College Grad Discount applies to the Camaro.

The application process varies depending on the credit union. They all are not the same and like wise the ease of application will vary so it's too hard to say.

Yes. Once you get your membership card or some other form of identification proving that you have an account with one you can use the discount. Please note that you need to read GM's rules on this as they look down on people who open up an account just for the discount then close the account after they buy the car.

Cons. There are none imo. They have better loan rates then most banks, they are easier to get approved for a loan, and their credit cards normally have lower interest rates then anybody else around.

Remember the College Grad, Supplier, and Credit Union discounts ARE THE SAME. If you have one discount you do not need nor can you apply one of the others to the same vehicle.

To get the credit union preferred pricing you need to register on GMs exclusive offers site, enter your credit union info (to see if it is a GM supplier). Then print out a certificate with a code number and expiration date. Then just take this certificate to your dealer when you buy the car.

Go here first:

most dealers are selling for the GMP price...most do not need authorizations - and it is the same price GM employee's pay.
