I do have a credit union through work, the best rate I can get through them is 4.49%... which is really good, if I am accepted for that... however not as good as that 4.15% through BOA... Do you think it would be easier to get a loan through a credit union like that? |

Go to Camaro Tracking - they will track it for you! They also have the number to railroad so you can check it yourself. You need to go to the tracking forums.

Yeah, real easy and the difference of .35% interest on a five year $35000 loan is not enough to sweat. Also if your dealer will honor it, you get supplier pricing on credit union loan, you can get an authorization # for discount on GM website. At 4% I would keep my cash in my pocket, by the way my parents are pharmicist as well and have had a family owned drugstore in SC for last 40yrs. great career choice.

Thank you for the advice, it is very much appreciated... You are right the .35% isn't enough to sweat... I just have to make sure I can get approved for that low of a rate... That's fantastic that your parents were able to retain their business in this day in age of corporations and big pharma... we lose so much when they get their greedy hands in things... |

I had ym dealer call GM directly and he told me that it was bayed waiting to get the rally stripes and he gave me the VIN #. I then called the GM number listed above, because I am nosey, and got the same response after a short wait on hold from the custermer service girl I talked too.

Damn that does suck. for sure try to shop around. With your credit score you should have no problem qualifing for a loan at all. BOA suck anyway. I do still have a checking acount with them just for paying bills. But since they got the government bailout money they have been real tight on there lending as of lately. I went with USAA for my loan at 4.5% for a 4 year note. I am also puting down about $15,000. I hope it all works out for you. Seems like it's always the ones that can manage and budget there money are the ones that get screwed when it comes to this kinda thing. |
