The flat part is part of the integral intake manifold runners. This is what is setting this blower apart from the others eaton rotors based blowers.

That is exactly right!! My e-force layed down 588 RWHP at only 6.5 pounds of boost!! Just for the record I do have long tube headers and a CAI.

saving up for the E-force too

I like its low profile looks, the valve covers hide all the hoses and coil pack.
And I hear they are super quiet and a real sleeper.
Plus the price is so very nice.

The runner mumbo-jumbo is marketing hype imo. There's no difference whatsoever in the torque curves of a Maggie or E.

What sets the E apart is that the aftercooler is not sitting down in the valley, it's up top and could, hypothetically, run cooler. But idk, some E systems run hot as hell.

You have no idea. I have a Vortech on a bone stock L99 engine. With a Maggie I'd be maxed out at 8psi due to the fact that that is the max safe boost at peak torque, give or take a little. With the Vortech after a shift I never drop below 6psi at my lowest rpm, and peak up top at 12 psi.

Pullied right and set up right you do not need a high rpm screamer to run a centri. My last setup was a Vortech that ran 16 psi at 6000 rpm shift point. It's all about pulleying it to spin the IMPELLER fast enough for a setup, not the motor fast.

I have nothing against top mount blowers, but for some reason i see alot of misinformed hatred toward the centri.

ECS kit is a great kit and makes awesome power with the stock motor. Then add a cam and its a beast!!!! However like everybody says its preference. Whatever you go with you'll be happy.
