Nice looking car! How do you feel about the MPG. I am about to be 17 and i am planning on buying a camaro middle of next year. Cant decide between a 4th gen or a 2nd gen. Trying to get some opinions on what i should do. Looking for 74-77 V8 4speed just like what you have.

I plan on one not quite as nice as yours, but time will tell.
Nice dude! Let us know if you end up getting a 2nd gen! If you do, be sure to join nastyz28.com, it's the best 2nd gen site out there!

Thanks! If you're looking for good MPG these aren't the cars to get. I get probably around 16mpg at best but I do have a more modern motor in mine than most 2nd gens. I have an '86 truck motor the previous owner built up because it starts out with more torque than car engines. He then rebuilt it to get some more horsepower out of the motor also. But I'd still go for a 2nd gen all day long! I thought about getting a 4th gen Trans am ws6, but with my camaro you never see another on like it. You get looks everywhere and people at school always ask me about it. So I'd say definitely try and get a 2nd gen!!!!

Nice Car! Enjoy it! My first car was a 73' Camaro. I got it when I was 16 and drove it everyday. I just about lived in it! LOL

Nice! I'm sure I've seen the '71 over on NastyZ28 because I remember seeing your collection alongside the car. The black and gold stripes isn't commonly seen!

Welcome to the site Vampirekitten!

I love the car. As a matter of fact, seeing your made me go on the look for one of a similar year.
I figure i already have a V6 for commute, i might as well get a Classic V8!

Thanks everyone!!! As of now I'm going to order a steering setup from PTFB (a 2nd gen camaro performance part company), as well as some parts to restore the interior. Also from a parts car I would like to get some bumpers without those ugly blocks on the front. I did a photoshop so you can see for yourself how much better the car looks without the bumper guards!!! Let me know what you think!
